Testing WorkFlows

You can test your WorkFlow functionally by using the ‘Test WorkFlow’ button.

When pressing this button, a popup will appear. For each WorkFlow, the popup presented will change according to your WorkFlow actions. Input the relevant parameters, and insert the test email.

An email with the relevant store credit received will be sent to the address inputted. The email sent is the “store credit” email you built in your email builder\email notifications tab with the text you inputted for this specific Workflow. 

Because this action tests the functionality of the Workflow as well, a loyalty card code will be created for the email address, and store credit will be added to it. You can see this in your Customers tab in your dashboard. 

When testing the Reminder Workflow, a loyalty card won’t be created, because that is not the function of the Workflow. Instead, an email with random details will be generated and sent.

Please note- When testing Workflows that are built as an action with the item ID option, the test functionality will not work.

Testing emails in the Email Builder-

To test the email you are customizing in your email builder, press the “send test” button. 

In the test email, we input random names, random custom text and store credit balance so you can see how it would look like for the customer.
