What is the 'Check Balance' Page?

In the 'Check Balance' page, customers can insert their gift card or loyalty code to see the remaining balance on the code.

How to customize the 'Check Balance' page:

Go to your Rise Dashboard -> Gift Card assets, click on 'Create Page' in the Check Balance box, then click on 'Customize':

This will create a new page on your Shopify admin. Once you create the page, you can start customizing it by clicking 'Customize'.

This will direct you to the customization page:

Here you can customize the appearance and text of the page. You have two tabs in order to do so:

Sections tab:

Here you can customize the wording of the different aspects of the page:

  1. Main section -  change the text that appears before inserting the code.

  2. After code insertion - change the text that appears after inserting the code. Make sure not to edit the variables {giftcard_balance} and {giftcard_expires_on}.

  3. Code not found - change the text that appears when the code inserted wasn't found

General tab:

Here you can customize the page's appearance:

  1. Background color- change the background color of the page.

  2. Card color - change the color of the card.

  3. Primary color - change the color of the text in the header title.

  4. Button color- change the color of the 'See your store credit' button.

  5. Font - choose one of our available fonts.

  6. Reset to defaults - reset the entire settings, both for general and sections tabs.

You can save your work at any time by clicking on the 'Save' button on the top right side of the screen. You can go back to your Rise dashboard by clicking the back button on the top left side.

Implementing the page in your store:

When you're done customizing, all you need to do is to link the 'Check Balance' page to your website's header or footer menu, so your customers can reach it easily. You can do this through your 'Navigations' tab in your Shopify admin, as you would any other page in Shopify:
