Following Shopify's latest requirement update, we have adjusted the permissions we require access to in your store. These changes are necessary to ensure that Rise continues to function properly after Shopify updates their requirements on July 1st. Nothing will be changed with Rise's functionality once you approve the permissions, but if they are not approved by then, the app's functionality may be affected.

You can approve the new permissions through the link sent to the email address associated with your account. It is important to note that only the store's admin is able to adjust permissions, so please have the relevant person do so.

If you are the admin, when clicking on the link you will be directed to the approval page. Here you can click 'Update app', and the relevant permissions will be updated:

If you are not the admin, you will not be directed to this page and you will see this notification:

This means you need to pass the update link to the store's admin.

Please note that the new scope we are requesting access to is the "merchant managed fulfillment" scope. This will allow Rise to mark the Gift Card line item as fulfilled in orders where a Rise gift card was purchased.

Please note that all permissions Rise.ai requests have been reviewed and approved by Shopify as being crucial for supporting the Rise.ai app functionality.

Thank you for your cooperation! If you have any more questions about this you can reach out to our support team through the online chat or at [email protected].
